Snap Crafted Pop

Well, hello, Home Dishers!

Have you recovered from Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday madness? Or maybe you’re just gearing up for all the holiday pop-up shops and craft shows headed our way this season. It’s a great way to shop—all the money goes back into your own communities! Plus you can find some one-of-a-kind or custom designs that make your gifts feel even more special. (Especially, if like me, you have the intention of being crafty…but never quite get there.)

This weekend offers one such opportunity. Jen Knoch of Radar Concierge is hosting her second annual Snap Crafted Pop, a pop-up holiday shopping event held in the old Bayer’s Hardware store in the Linden Hills neighborhood of Minneapolis.

Being the detailed person Knoch is, you can plan to be greeted, have your coat taken, and be handed a tasty beverage to sip as you shop while savoring the sounds of holiday tunes (on vinyl, of course). Lingering is encouraged. Not that you’ll need the encouragement, as there will be lots of local, pretty handmade goods to ooh and aah over, including jewelry, clothing, handbags, and lots of home décor items and accessories, not to mention tons of pretty holiday décor items for the tree and trimming. Expect to see the gorgeous jewelry designs of Karin Jacobson, the impeccable beauty goods from Becky Sturm of Stormsister Spatique and 3WayBeauty, and leather goods for people and pets from The Hide and the Hand, among tons of covet-worthy others.

Furthermore! There will be gift wrapping! There will be festive people and pet photo shoots! Free parking! And the event will be running during the Linden Hills Neighborhood Reindeer Day Event, which means Rudolph himself, wagon rides, carolers, and Santa!

If that doesn’t get you in the holiday mood, I don’t know what will. For real.

Saturday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, December 2 from 12 to 4 p.m.
