St. Paul Parade –
The 41st annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is at noon on Saturday, March 17th. This is a family-oriented parade. Expect such participators as the St. Paul Police band, the Moynian Singers, the Brian Boru Irish Pipe Band, Miss Shamrock 2007 and the Shamrock Princesses, plus many more entertainers, community representatives and local Irish businesses. Minneapolis Parade –
Sat. March 17th at 6:30pm on the Nicollet Mall from 12th to 5th. Gather on Nicollet to watch floats, pageant winners, listen to music and enjoy the festivities. Brought to you by the Minneapolis Saint Patrick’s Day Association.
Green Beer Recipe
It’s simple. All you need is:
1 pint glass
16 ounces golden Irish lager beer
3-6 drops green food coloring
*Serve the kids – or anyone avoiding alcohol – clear juice with the same coloring.

(Pronounced ‘slawn-cha’ – this is a traditional Irish toast that is our equivalent to cheers, but means ‘good health’ in Gaelic.)
