TRIA was conceived, designed and built to deliver the best patient experience and orthopaedic outcomes. TRIA was formed through the partnership of University of Minnesota Physicians, The Orthopaedic Center and Park Nicollet Health Services, to deliver the highest standard of orthopaedic care and treatment. This new concept attracted the physicians with a shared vision, including nationally-recognized specialists who focus on specific conditions and areas of the body: hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, foot, ankle, knee, hip, and spine. The group includes six highly trained female orthopaedic specialists for those who prefer to see a female physician. The TRIA team is dedicated to helping individuals reach their goals, feel better about themselves, and regain their active lifestyle.

To promote this kind of extraordinary patient care and recovery, TRIA constructed a state-of-the-science facility that was purpose-built to be the most advanced orthopaedic surgery and treatment center around. Comprehensive services are all under one roof: Clinics, MRI, diagnostics, Minimally Invasive Procedures, outpatient surgery, and rehabilitation services such as hand and physical therapy. Skilled sports medicine specialists are team physicians for the Gophers, Twins, Timberwolves, Lynx, Vikings, Wild, and many area colleges.

TRIA is also a teaching facility and is committed to advancing the field of orthopaedics through various education programs and fellowships for future orthopaedic specialists. In addition, TRIA is conducting extensive studies through their research institute to determine “best practices†in the field of orthopaedics and to provide superior patient outcomes.

You don’t need a referral to set up an appointment, simply call the appointment line. And if you sustain an injury, you will be seen at TRIA’s Acute Injury Clinic the same day, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
