1000 wedding planning couples attended the Twin Cities Bridal Show held at the Saint Paul RiverCentre on March 2, 2014. The all new Twin Cities Bridal Show proved to be just what the couples wanted; a fun and exciting way to plan their wedding. Featuring one-of-a-kind elements like the Inspiration Station, Glam2Go Makeover Zone and the Aisle of Style Fashion Show the event was fresh and full of energy.
The Aisle of Style Fashion Show opened with an appearance by Falen Bonsett fro KDWB’s Morning Show and a special guest appearance by The Wedding Guys®, Matthew Trettel and Bruce Vassar. The multimedia fashion show boasted a 100-foot long runway, MTV style video screens and a club DJ mixing music. 35 models wore 60 stunning fashions in a show worthy of New York fashion-week.
The Inspiration Station featured 6 store-window style displays: Farm to Table, Ice Hot, Gatsby, Hipster, New Vintage and English Manor which covered the latest trends. Couples could preview these design concepts in advance on our curated, promotional Pinterest boards for the show, then the ideas were “brought to life” at the event.
As an interactive experience, couples could stop at the Glam-2-Go Makeover Zone to enjoy a mini-makeover. The area featured stations staffed by expert beauty service providers and was styled like a modern salon.
