Event: The 18th annual Minnesota Monthly Food and Wine Experience was held March 3 and 4 at Target Field’s beautiful Metropolitan Club in downtown Minneapolis.
The Menu: More than 5,000 guests came out to sample the offerings of 200 gourmet-food exhibitors, 350 fine wines, and 75 specialty beers.
Big Red: Guests at the Grand Red Tasting, held the night of March 3, sipped top-of-the-line red wines from nearly every region in the world.
Roll it Up: Celebration Generation’s cake in the shape of a wooden boat, stuffed to the brim with “sushi,” took home the ultimate title in the Czar of Cakes challenge.
Listen Up: Money raised from the event went toward supporting Minnesota Public Radio, Minnesota Monthly’s sister company.
