2014 Miss America Recap

It was an exciting week for Rebecca Yeh, Miss Minnesota 2013, as she traveled to Atlantic City to compete in the 2014 Miss America pageant. Not only did she look stunning, but she wowed the judges, winning the preliminary talent competition award for her violin performance of Henri Wieniawski’s Scherzo and Tarantella.

On Sunday, Sept. 15, Rebecca went on to compete in finals night for the Miss America pageant. It was a nail-biting moment when—after listening to the other 14 contestants’ names revealed—Rebecca was announced as the last contestant to join the Top 15 finalists.

As the evening went on, Rebecca was selected to move on and participate in the swimsuit, evening gown, and talent competitions. An ecstatic Rebecca continued to advance all the way to the top five finalists!

After handling each of the competitions with grace, Rebecca was the fourth runner-up for the crown, taking home a $10,000 scholarship.
