In Minnesota Monthly‘s December issue, we named the 52 best things about Minnesota in 2018. (Covering activities, foods, personalities, stores, etc.) Meanwhile, in our hunt for 2019’s “Best MN Town,” we narrowed contenders to five finalists. Now, it’s time for a party. We’ll celebrate what we love about the state and announce the winning town.
What does this (ages 21-plus) Best of MN Party look like? On Wednesday, December 5, from 6 to 10 p.m., 26 food and drink vendors and seven makers will fill the industrial-chic Aria venue in northeast Minneapolis.

For entertainment, we got Static Panic. The local band recently broke through with acclaimed debut EP Chrome. It’s electro-funk—so, yes, think Prince, among other ’80s pop influences. Highly danceable.
You’ll also find a not-your-average photo booth—a beautified ’60s camper, perfect for the Instagram era—provided by Northerly Photo Camper.
That’s in addition to yard games, fun virtual-reality experiences, and locally made artisanal products.
Hope to see you there!
