At Minnesota Aurora FC, a jersey has never been just a jersey. It’s a canvas.

There’s a reason Minnesota Aurora FC’s jerseys have never felt like just uniforms. From the beginning, they’ve functioned more like storytelling devices—each one rooted in identity, place, and the idea that a team can reflect something larger than the game itself.
The club’s newly unveiled 2026 “Flora Kit” continues that tradition, but in a way that feels quieter, more layered, and arguably more personal.
Created in collaboration with the Minneapolis Institute of Art and local artist Lindsay Nohl, the design draws from Minnesota’s natural landscape—wildflowers, wild rice, and the kind of subtle textures you might miss if you’re not paying close attention. It’s intentionally understated. Tone-on-tone. The kind of piece that reveals itself slowly, depending on the light, the movement, the distance.
Look closer, and the details start to emerge. Soft silhouettes of native plants stretch across the fabric, grounding the jersey in the state’s prairies and wetlands. Small stars scatter across the upper half, a nod to both Minnesota’s night sky and Aurora’s original constellation-inspired kit. Together, the elements create something that feels expansive but rooted—like looking out over a field at dusk.
Aurora has built its identity around community ownership and inclusivity, and the Flora kit reflects that ethos. It doesn’t rely on bold graphics or high-contrast design to stand out. Instead, it invites you in—asking you to look closer, to connect, to see yourself as part of the story.

That sense of connection extends beyond the jersey itself. Earlier this year, the club introduced its “Community Collection,” with 15% of sales supporting the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. And this season, $5 from every season ticket will go toward the same cause—an approach that continues to position Aurora as something more than a team.
Fans will get their first look—and chance to purchase—the Flora kit at a launch event April 3 in Eagan, with food trucks, activities, and the kind of energy that has become synonymous with Aurora gatherings. The season itself kicks off May 21 at TCO Stadium, where the jersey will move from concept to context—worn, lived in, and brought to life on the field.
