Beside the St. Croix River, join fellow Minnesotans for Lumberjack competitions, a parade, and live music. Events will be offered on Wednesday and Thursday nights, with all-day activities on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Garden Glory
What: Linden Hills Community Garden Tour
When: July 12
Where: Linden Hill Historic Estate, 608 Highland Ave., Little Falls
For $10, stroll the Linden Hill gardens and featured residential gardens. Following the tour, lemonade will be served in Linden Hill’s Pavilion. All proceeds will be used to help with the gardening expenses at Linden Hill.
Slow and Steady
What: Nisswa Turtle Races
When: Wednesdays, July 12-August 16 from 1-3 p.m.

Every Wednesday this summer, head to downtown Nisswa for their 59th annual summer of turtle races. Participants can race a turtle for fun, cheer on their favorite turtle, and win prizes.

Sip your way through our 11th annual Fine Spirits Classic. This event features many of the Twin Cities’ top mixologists and national and local distillers. Sample new brands and spirits from around the world while enjoying gourmet fare and gathering new cocktail recipes.

In Sauk Centre, there will be four days of fun for all ages. Enjoy a craft fair, family day in the park, parade, ice cream social, 5K, a kids 1-mile run, the Miss Sauk Centre Pageant, soap box derby races, and more.
Scenic Art Fair
What: The Minnehaha Falls Art Fair
When: July 14-16
Where: Minnehaha Falls, 4801 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis
Experience some of the state’s finest art at the fourth annual Minnehaha Falls Art Fair. One of the largest art shows in Minnesota, this fair is a zero-waste event with items under $30 at every booth. For easy transportation, Metro Transit is offering free rides to and from the fair.

What: Mid-Summer Food Truck Extravaganza

Where: Harriet Island Regional Park, Harriet Island Road, St. Paul
Bring your families, friends, and neighbors for a day of unique street eats with global cuisines from more than 30 food trucks and trailers. This free community event will also feature a marketplace and live music.
