BlackBlue Hosting Closeout Studio Sale

Stylish guys in the Twin Cities, take note: When St. Paul boutique BlackBlue has a studio sale, it’s cause for sneaking out of the office for an extended lunch break. The store is hosting a just-announced clearance sale this Monday and Tuesday at its Lowertown Studio, offering closeout prices—50 to 90 percent off plus an additional 25 percent off—on past-seasons gear from some of the shop’s top brands.

When Steve Kang opened his store all the way back in 2009, the trend toward heritage fashion was just beginning to percolate. Since then, BlackBlue has gained a cultish following for its modern, stylish take on heritage and outdoor wear. The sale includes everything from winter outerwear to deadstock denim and lots of new items recently we have added from the store’s archive (which is shoppable online at blkblu.com). Look for fisherman sweaters by S.N.S. Herning, tropical short-sleeved shirts by Gitman Vintage, utilitarian jackets and camp pants by Battenwear, tailored Oxford shirts by Our Legacy, and more from brands including LVC, Raleigh, Work in Progress, and Engineered Garments—plus a few women’s items.

Noon-8 p.m. Monday, August 29 and Tuesday, August 30, BlackBlue Studio, 275 4th St. E. #330, St. Paul, blkblu.com
