More than 100 minority entrepreneurs came together for a mixer last month at the Minneapolis Event Center. This networking event was organized by Catalyst, a consortium of economic development nonprofits aimed at people of color. The consortium includes Meda (Metropolitan Economic Development Association), the African Development Center, NEON (Northside Economic Opportunity Network), Latino Economic Development Center, African Economic Development Solutions, Asian Economic Development Association and NDC (Neighborhood Development Center). These nonprofits provide services to minority entrepreneurs including business consulting, financial solutions and market opportunities.
