Back-to-school shopping season isn’t just for kids–it’s also a great time to stock up on office supplies, such as a stylish new collection of planners designed by Edina-based brand Senn & Sons. For a third year in a row, the company was tapped by Blue Sky Planners to create a line of colorful, patterned planners for Target.
On the brand’s blog, designer Kimberly Senn says the designs were inspired by a trip she took with her family to the south of France. “The colors and light reflect the energy and warmth of the beaches of Cannes, the gorgeous old homes built into the hills, and incredible flowers and greenery found everywhere,” she explains.
The designs also include hand-lettering and original illustrations created by hand with pen on paper that were then digitally collaged and colored. The collection includes four planners, available in a monthly-weekly format and a larger monthly version. The planners cost $5.99 to $7.99 and are now for sale at Target stores in the back-to-school section, plus a limited number are available for purchase online at sennandsons.com.
