Frank Gehry Tea Kettle

Revolutionary architect (and Minneapolis native) Frank Gehry is best known in Minnesota for his iconic design of the Weisman Art Museum. Lesser-known is his functional home object design, such as this teakettle he designed in 1992 for the Italian modern design company Alessi. The Pito (Spanish for “whistle”) kettle features mirror-polished stainless steel and mahogany-wood fish accents. $475 @ Walker Shop, shop.walkerart.org
