Less than a year after a major expansion, North Loop men’s and home store Martin Patrick 3 has continued to evolve. Its recent introduction of two new concepts—a barbershop and a store-within-a-store featuring the new bedding line Colette Jaffe—has solidified it as a one-stop destination for outfitting men and their habitats alike.

Described as a “new-age barbershop,” Marty’s Styled by Jon Charles is a three-chair salon co-conceived by renowned local hair guru Jon Charles, who styled the shop with vintage barber chairs refurbished at the local Bentley dealership—think luxe leather, wood, and chrome. With an emphasis on convenience, Marty’s offers haircuts starting at $35 in less than 10 minutes, plus beard trims and “gray reduction” color services. And though old-school barbershop shaves aren’t on the menu, they sell Baxter of California shaving kit at the store for $85 to bring home the straight-razor experience.

Around the corner from the salon is an in-store shop showcasing the Colette Jaffe collection of bedding, bathroom, and home accessories. Its namesake is a Minneapolis entrepreneur with 25 years of experience working in the luxury linen business. The line is manufactured in Tuscany and available exclusively at Martin Patrick 3 and online at colettejaffe.com to offer a contemporary twist on traditional Italian linen designs with rich colors, distinctive patterns, and luxe details, such as embroidered borders. “After a lifetime in the linen business, I saw what I wanted and decided to make it myself,” Jaffe says. “We wrap ourselves in beautiful clothes, why not beautiful sheets?”
