In Minnesota, we have a signature quality that seems to be inherited, and it is an amazing combination of talent, hard work, and humility. We don’t shout out our awesomeness, but find creative ways for people to check out what we have been up to. Case in point is Home Fashion Fabrics by Josi Severson.
Josi is a textile artist whose latest project is a line of original hand-drawn printed strapless dresses using 100% certified organic cotton, manufactured and printed in the USA. The fabrics are b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l. In an age where we are getting bored and frustrated with generic mass produced pieces, our American pride is swaying our purchases back close to home. Back to supporting the amazing talent we have here, and even better right here in MN.
The product line Josi is offering is unique, modern, and the highest quality. This really speaks to what customers are asking for. She has a shop located at 1008 Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, and is currently found on Kickstarter.com raising money to manufacture her dresses here in the US….Yes! Here in the U.S.A.! Amazing talent AND a solid step in the best direction…We Love our Minnesota awesomeness…especially when we get to feel pretty wearing our MN pride. She’s in the homestrech of her Kickstarter campaign, which ends on Saturday, May 17. Check out her video below and then head on over to her funding page and help make her dream of manufacuring her first dress come true!
