The Minnesota born company dpHUE recently made a big move online onto one of the beauty industries’ biggest retail stores. On March 15, Sephora launched dpHUE’s full line of products on its website, with root touch-up kits to soon follow.
Founded by Minneapolis native Donna Pohlad, and Justin Anderson, dpHUE does professional and convenient in a way that will change how you think about your hair. Pohlad desired salon quality color on her own time schedule—something we all can relate to.
As a highly sought after celebrity hair colorist, Anderson’s work has graced the covers of Elle, W, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and more. He’s become a go-to guy for starlets like Jennifer Aniston, Miley Cyrus, Jillian Michaels, and Emma Roberts. She paired up with Anderson to create a line of hair care products to utilize the highest quality and best performing ingredients in everything they make.
Together, Pohlad and Anderson launched a colorBAR salon in Los Angles and Minneapolis. Some of their revolutionary products include new apple cider vinegar hair rinse ACV by dpHUE, which was featured by Allure on “7 Beauty Products We’re Obsessed With This Week.”
As the Creative Director of dpHUE, Anderson and the colorBAR at dpHUE are working to revolutionize the hair color industry, aspiring to making custom, convenience, and high quality color more accessible. dpHUE’s commitment is making the big leagues of beauty sit up and take notice. As the company moves onto a national platform, it will be extending its reach to a much broader audience.
