First Avenue Announces More Than 50 New Shows

After a year without live music, the venue is welcoming artists back with events across the Twin Cities

First Avenue is ready to welcome back fans and musicians alike.

They announced over 50 events this week, marking a return to live music and events in 2021. The calendar is packed with local bands and musicians including Bad Bad HatsGully BoysNight Moves, and more as bands prepare to start touring again.

The summer concert calendar is kicked off by a sold-out two-night show by The Suburbs at 7th St. Entry on July 2 and 3. The following week, Dessa is joined by Lady Midnight on July 8 and 9 at the Turf Club, tickets go on sale Friday, June 4 at 11 a.m. Tickets for most local shows are on sale now. 

Keep an eye out for fall shows including, Princess Nokia on her first-ever headlining tour with a stop at First Avenue on Friday, October 15, St. Vincent at the Armory on Tuesday, September 14, and Alex G at Fine Line on Tuesday, November 16.  

First Avenue and its affiliate venues will continue to follow local, state, and national health and safety COVID guidelines.
