Two of the hottest new titles in men’s style have authors with local connections. Minnesota native David Coggins is behind Men and Style, a style guide that delves into the history of men’s fashion. In collaboration with Taavo Somer, who studied architecture at the University of Minnesota, Coggins also co-wrote Freemans, which documents the creative process behind Somer’s iconic New York City concept of the same name, which includes a restaurant, barbershop, menswear store, and bespoke tailor shop. • $30–$60 each @ Askov Finlayson
