Well hello there! I was just over at IMS for the WAMSO Settings of Note fundraising luncheon, where designers created tabletop settings to auction off to benefit the Minnesota Orchestra. I thought I’d show you a trio of quick snaps—there were many other great designs today—in case you’re hosting a luncheon yourself this weekend for Mother’s Day and need a little inspiration.
If it snows or rains this weekend, just bring the garden inside! I love this clean, more traditional-style Monique Lhuillier china with the mossy centerpiece. I also absolutely love the chandelier/lanterns above the table. Note that the “place cards” are tiny plants with name cards stuck in them! What a sweet take-home for your guests. Designed by event planner Eve Deikel Wendel.
The beauty girl in me was thrilled with this spa-inspired setting done by Jodi Mellin from Gunkelmans. The pink-and-green color scheme made it feel fresh and slightly preppy. I’m probably biased—orchids are my favorite flower, plus I love zebra print and the color pink! Each place had some zen-like rocks, Origins goodies, and mani/pedi tools. This would lead to a fun afternoon of primping and pampering.
This fab table was done up by Shelly Riehl David of Riehl Designs, in the colors of the season. I’m still loving birds as a design element.
