More than 700 guests attended the fifth annual PopUp Dinner Twin Cities on a beautiful night at the Walker’s Sculpture Garden on August 11. The sold-out white party’s proceeds went to benefit the Minneapolis Parks Foundation. Beet hummus with homemade naan, caprese salad skewers, and a bruschetta bar were among the specialties at this formal al fresco picnic. Plus, the Lynhall provided a delicious DIY cheesecake station. Table decor themes ranged from Prince to Star Wars, but some guests opted simply for lovely flowers and candlelight. Attendees had fun taking pictures with the Northerly Photobooth in a vintage camper, and we saw some great Instagram pics from the cotton candy stand. One of the highlights of the evening was a proposal. As DJ Cal spun “My Girl,” the groom-to-be dropped to one knee. It was a night of dancing and celebrating our city under the Minneapolis skyline.
