Marking the 50th anniversary of Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, this gala evening on August 13 was filled with special guests and a reunion cast, who sang, danced, and reminisced. It was a love letter to the organization, which has employed nearly 9,000 people and served over 12.5 million guests. Participants told stories dating back to 1968, when the nation’s largest professional dinner theater company was built by Herb and Carol Bloomberg. The audience was comprised of cast members and employees spanning the organization’s entire history. The party continued at a post-show reception.
