Recap: Mall of America's Light Rail Fashion Show

Minnesota’s homegrown edition of Fashion Week wrapped up last weekend, but fall fashion in the Twin Cities is just getting started. Today, the Mall of America kicked off its first-ever Fall Art + Style Series with a Light-Rail fashion show. In partnership with Made Here (a local arts organization that brings Minnesota-made artwork to empty downtown storefronts) and the MSP Airport, it took fall looks out of the mall and into the city. A crew of models from Vision Management Group—styled in chic, layered fall looks from Mall of America stores—jumped on the Light-Rail’s Blue Line, making stops at the airport, Riverside Avenue, and East Lake Street, eventually ending in downtown Minneapolis, where models worked the parking lot underneath the new Bob Dylan mural like a New York Fashion Week runway.
