Here are a few of my favorite shopping options this weekend. I’m counting my pennies!
First, two in St. Paul:
Patina is hosting its annual outlet sale at its Highland Park location this weekend. Head to the lower level to nab great gifts at up to 50 percent off. Some people set their holiday-shopping clocks by this sale, and I don’t blame them. 2057 Ford Pkwy., St. Paul, 651-695-9955
If Earth-friendliness, body-safe cosmetics, and the spa are more your speed, then you’ll want to get over to the grand opening of Nature of Beauty in Mendota Heights. Owner Terri Bly has moved from her spot on Grand Avenue to expand her offerings and add spa services. Find the best eco-friendly, nontoxic, and high-performing beauty and personal-care products on the market I can’t wait to see it, myself. There will be swag bags, mini facials, makeovers, wine, and treats. 6–9 p.m., 750 Main St., Mendota Heights
And to be fair, two in Minneapolis:
The annual MN Fashion Holiday Bazaar is on! Shop fashionable, shop local with stores such as b. resale, Cliché, and Parc Boutique as well as local designers and artists like EC Design, Carrier Pigeon, Nelle Handbags, and Vintage City Classics—and SO MANY more. (And I just saw on Twitter they’ll have a coat check.) 11 a.m.–6 p.m., $8.50 advance, $10 door. MN Fashion atrium, 79 13th Ave. NE, Mpls.
And last but definitely not least, the Nokomis Urban Craft Fair. Find everything from stationery to jewelry, artwork to baby gear. Tons of talented vendors, including My Fine Garden by SLG Designs, Pins With Fury, and more. 9 a.m.–2 p.m., 2401 E. Minnehaha Pkwy., Mpls.
