Just so you know, the holidays are right around the corner. It’s been easy enough to ignore to this point, even with some stores erecting their Christmas trees and whatnot, because this weather! You can still see the grass! Who needs a coat? The holidays are eons away!

Today marks the first Gaviidae Market. Which is what it sounds like. Local artists and artisans are selling their fabulous wares in Gaviidae, every Thursday from now until Christmas. Shop and buy local, support the economy, get everyone on your list crossed off. Infrared Studios will be there with fabulous jewelry (I get tons of compliments on my earrings). Silvercocoon will also be selling jewelry, and redshoes26 is selling illustrations, prints, onesies, cards, and more—nothing over $30. Can’t beat that! TONIGHT
There are a lot of openings and parties around town this time of year, but this is definitely one I wouldn’t miss if you love lashes. Jett Makeup is hosting a launch of their shop at 50th & France, complete with free makeup (Jett does amazing airbrush makeup) and lash applications, hot cider and appetizers, and 15 percent off a future appointment.
