Laundry Camp at Mona Williams:

Learn how to do laundry from the best at Laundry Camp, which returns for a new season. Hosted by Mona Williams store owner and “the Laundry Evangelist,” Patric Richardson, the workshop shows you how to optimize your laundry routine and wash the “unwashable,” helping you to clean your clothing and textiles at home and skip a trip to the dry cleaner. Aveda Institute’s Catwalk for Water Fashion Show:

In honor of Earth Month, the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis is hosting its annual Catwalk for Water fashion show to bring attention to the need for clean water. Aveda Institute students along with stylists from local Aveda salons will showcase their inspirations, creativity, and technical skills in hair, makeup, and fashion. Using the earth as their muse, design teams create original looks for a runway show that will be accompanied by a live DJ, plus a food truck, cash bar, and live auctions. Funds will be donated to Aveda’s local Earth Month partner, Audobon Minnesota, to support clean water conservation work in Minnesota. Get tickets via Eventbrite.
