Gumuchian Jewelry “B” Collection Trunk Show:

In 2016, Gumuchian debuted its “B” Collection, a line of bee-inspired fine jewelry with a mission to save the bees from extinction. Following partnerships with the Honeybee Conservancy in California and City Growers in Brooklyn, the Atwerp-based, family-owned brand is partnering with the Bee and Pollinator Research Lab at the University of Minnesota. A portion of proceeds from the collection will be donated to the lab and its Bee Squad program to help preserve the local honeybee population. Shop the collection during this two-day trunk show. Naptime Aromatherapy Co. Grand Opening:

After Michelle Stangl’s son was born, she started My Naptime Jewelry, named for the time when she makes her creations. She uses lava stones, which can soak up essential oils to diffuse it as an aroma throughout the day. Now, the designer has expanded with a new line of aromatherapy and essential oil products, Naptime Aromatherapy Co., which she is debuting with a new gift and home shop of the same name. Celebrating 10 Years of Parc:

Ten years ago, Thao Nguyen founded Parc, a women’s wear boutique with a high-style, minimalist vibe. Shop women’s clothing and accessories from more than 35 Minnesota-owned, women-owned brands at Fémme Obsessed, a new pop-up shop and event series celebrating female entrepreneurs. Aveda Institute’s Catwalk for Water Fashion Show:

In honor of Earth Month, the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis is hosting its annual Catwalk for Water fashion show to bring attention to the need for clean water. Aveda Institute students along with stylists from local Aveda salons will showcase their inspirations, creativity, and technical skills in hair, makeup, and fashion. Using the earth as their muse, design teams create original looks for a runway show that will be accompanied by a live DJ, plus a food truck, cash bar, and live auctions.
