They got their start in different musical venues: Thomasina Petrus with Penumbra Theatre, Julius Collins with his popular soul supergroup Greazy Meal. But now they’re united under the banner of a project begun by Petrus as a simple musical revue, Hot Chocolate. Now a full-fledged musical, developed with fellow Penumbra regular Austene Van, the story of a couple searching for peace, love, and understanding amid holiday chaos opens November 30 at Park Square Theatre.
