Minnesota-based owner and designer Sarah Butala wanted to make art that stood for something, so she took her self-taught leather working talent and became not only an advocate for women-owned businesses but for sustainable and ethically built businesses. Opening reception on Oct. 26 from 4-8 p.m. @ Mall of America, N294 near Nordstrom, 60 E Broadway, Bloomington, streydesigns.com.
