Breaking the Chain

WHAT: Chainbreaker On Deck Party 
WHEN: Wednesday July 16, 6-10 p.m.
WHERE: Fulton Brewery, 414 Sixth Ave. N., Minneapolis

WHY: To raise funds for the Chainbreaker riders, virtual riders, or peloton of your choice, that will be taking part in the 180-mile, three-day ride scheduled for August 10-12, to raise money for cancer research at the Masonic Cancer Center at the University of Minnesota.

INSIDER INFO: Some of the people involved in the ride include Sue and Jay Kakuk, their daughter Alynn, and son-in-law Tore Swenson, plus Josh Brown from D’Amico. Fulton brews and Kakookies are available. Tickets are $20 at the door. Learn more.

WHAT: The Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art Fundraiser 
WHEN: Friday July 27, Saturday July 28, 1-7 p.m. ($20 includes both days)

WHY: To raise funds for the Atelier’s teaching arts programs
