Well this has been one long, drawn-out—and hotly anticipated—collection announcement. We’ve known for a while that Target and Neiman Marcus paired up for a grand collaboration of 20-something CDFA stylemakers for a mind-blowing holiday collection.
Today the images were released for consumers’ eyes—though you’ll have to just add them to your wish list until they go on sale December 1 at both stores. A little bird told me that there already is great anticipation for crazy public demand, so steel yourself for Missoni-level madness (coupled with holiday shopping crazy). Yes, there might be camper-outers. Just sayin’.
That said, it looks like the goods are going to be worth the gauntlet. Here are a few of my favorites—but this is nowhere near the comprehensive collection which includes an Alice + Olivia bike, darling children’s clothing, etc.:
First, the photo at right is almost a take on the space-print textiles that have been so hot on the runway, from the darkly gorgeous Rodarte girls.
Altuzarra (each piece sold separately). How sexy and sophisticated for a woman or a man? I l-o-v-e this set.
Yoga suddenly got very haute with this Diane Von Furstenberg-designed mat.
I’ve been feeling a little bummed at my limited maternity options, but gloves always fit. Right? Right. Love these Brian Atwood stunners.
The Marc Jacobs clutches might be my one big must-have from the collection (and I want the scarf, too).
Oscar always makes such lovely, feminine things. I only wished it was slightly less feminine (for once in my life!) so I could feed and water my two male dogs with this bowl. (The leash is equally adorable.)
We can thank Tory Burch for freshening up our brown-bag lunch.
Pretty-pretty Tracy Reese blouse, just in time for the holidays. Perfect with some dark skinny dress pants or even loosely tucked into a tweed pencil skirt.
Reminder: All items will be available at both stores. And now you know you best be getting up early if you want your hands on any of the goods!
