Target to Launch Holiday Line with Faribault Woolen Mill

Over the weekend, Target announced its latest designer collaboration: a holiday capsule collection with Minnesota’s own Faribault Woolen Mill—right on the heels of its first annual Tent Sale. It appears to be the first time the Minneapolis-based corporation has joined forces with a local company—though they have created collaboration lines with television personality and interior designer Nate Berkus (who grew up in Minnetonka) and Kate Arends of lifestyle blog Wit & Delight, who recently debuted a craft beer-inspired party line for the retailer.

The resulting collection stays true to Faribault’s heritage while offering products with a contemporary feel, such as wool smartphone cases and tablet sleeves, as well as backpacks, totes, duffle bags, and of course, Faribault’s iconic scarves and throws. The collection, which launches exclusively online at target.com, will be priced from $13 to $80—a steal when compared to their regular line, which ranges from $60 for scarves, to $135 to $215 for wool throws and blankets.
