Victory Reopens Under New Ownership

After a dozen years and three months with its doors closed, Linden Hills home interiors shop Victory reopens today. The store has been celebrated for its eclectic yet elegant selection of vintage and new items culled from flea market finds, Europe, and dealers—think vintage silver, chandeliers, antique glass, ornate frames, and luxury linens. Founding owner Kerry Ciardelli announced in January that the store would be closed indefinitely while she embarked on travel and attended to the needs of her design clients. Today came the announcement that Victory is reopening today under new ownership: Susan Bankenship and Lisa Balke, a pair of vintage collectors and longtime friends.

As for Ciardelli, she will stay busy producing the second volume of The Scout Guide Minneapolis, which showcases small local businesses and shopping, and focusing on her interior design business.

Open 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Fri., 3505 W. 44th St., Mpls., 612-926-8200, shopvictory.com
