Theater artist Junauda Alma Petrus, visual artist Jordan Malcolm Hamilton, and their team of young artists will be presenting a night of captivating performances, provocative artwork, and activities that center around the theme of healing in times of struggle. Where: Able Seedhouse & Brewery
Able Seedhouse & Brewery, focusing on local grains and inventive beer recipes, invites you to its first birthday celebration, where they will be releasing new stout infusions and their 9.7% Imperial Stout. Let’s Have a Tea Party

We’ve suggested a couple of beer activities this weekend, but perhaps tea’s more your speed. Sample more than 100 of Mrs. Kelly’s local, freshly blended teas and browse through displays of hand-made pottery, paintings, and candy. Admission is free, although a donation of $2 or a non-perishable food item is suggested. These donations will be made to Perspectives Kids Café and Second Harvest Heartland. Information here.

Guthrie Theater continues its annual holiday tradition with its 42nd production of A Christmas Carol, directed by Joe Chvala. Forever a holiday classic, Charles Dickens’s story follows the Christmas experience of Ebenezer Scrooge as he come to terms with his disagreeable, grouchy attitude towards life. Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland
What: Winter Wonderland in Woodbury
