Military Memorial
WHAT: Always Lost: A Mediation on War

Take some time this weekend to remember those coming home from war. Always Lost: A Meditation on War is a traveling memorial exhibit composed of thousands of photographs of U.S. military veterans and various accompanying literary works. Head up to the MCTC Helland Student Center’s third floor to check out the exhibit (a note of caution: some photos may be graphic) and then to the adjacent private space to reflect. Moonlight Adventures
WHAT: Snowshoe by Full Moon
WHERE: Oakdale Discovery Center, Oakdale

Slip out of the Cities for a few hours to have a moonlight adventure at the Oakdale Discovery Center. Strap on a pair of snowshoes (bring your own or borrow ’em from the nature center) and traipse along the luminary-lit trail under the stars before heading back to the bonfire for hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows.
