Country Jammin’ with Toby Keith

Presented by Ford F-Series, country music star Toby Kieth performs his smash hits, including “American Soldier,” “Beer for My Horses,” and “Red Solo Cup,” alongside opening acts Krystal Kieth and Lance Carpenter at the outdoor amphitheater. For Whom the Bell Museum Tolls

What: The Bell Museum Grand Re-opening 
When: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. 
Where: Bell Museum, 2088 Larpenteur Ave. W., St. Paul
To celebrate the natural history museum’s re-opening and new building, visitors are welcome to explore what this world has to offer in the Touch & See Lab and Collections Cove, by sketching rare items featured in the educational collection, and by building mini, take-home dioramas. Take a journey through space and marvel at two shows (Minnesota in the Cosmos and No Limit!) at the new Whitney and Elizabeth MacMillan Planetarium

Meals on Food-Truck Wheels

What: The Third Annual Northeast Food Truck Rally
When: 3-10 p.m. 
Where: Able Seedhouse + Brewery, 1121 Quincy St. NE, Minneapolis
Partnering with Meals on Wheels, a non-profit organization that delivers meals directly to the homes of seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Twin Cities, the Northeast Food Truck Rally serves lots of different flavors for a cause. Enjoy Able Brewery beverages, a plethora of delicious eats from Minnesota food trucks like Thai Thai Street Food and Run Tell That BBQ, live music, and games. Proceeds of this event go to Meals on Wheels. 

Bacon and Beer

What: The Twin Cities Bacon and Beer Classic 
When: Noon
Where: CHS Field, 360 N. Broadway St., St. Paul
Featuring over 100 beers from regional breweries, these select brews are perfect to savor alongside the salty goodness of over 30 bacon-infused dishes from local chefs, hailing from restaurants including Psycho Suzi’s Motor Lounge and Parlour St.Paul. In addition to the bacon and brew, the event features blind beer taste-testing, the Hormel bacon-eating contest, lawn games, music, and more. 


Sunday, July 15 

Refugee Reception

What: 12th Annual World Refugee Day
When: Noon-6 p.m. 
Where: Loring Park, Minneapolis
This family-oriented day of celebration highlights the stories, arts, and cultures of refugees in Minnesota and how their experiences contribute to the greater community. This event features dozens of refugee artists, musicians, dancers, poets, and storytellers; a resource fair filled with local organizations dedicated to improving the quality of life; and a fair for food and crafts. 

One-of-a-Kind Finds 

What: Minneapolis Vintage Market 
When: Noon
Where: Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE, Minneapolis
This monthly pop-up marketplace focuses on premium, vintage one-of-a-kind treasures (ranging from clothing to furniture to vinyls) from 17 different unique vendors. This time around, the market features Dinosaur Hampton, a custom embroider for your favorite vintage items, as well as delectable bites from Red River Kitchen and Sociable Cider Werks
