Art and charity come together at NKB40 for One Heartland—with more than 40 diverse artists on hand showing off their work for a good cause. The show is free, but proceeds from works purchased will go directly to the One Heartland Organization, an organization with aspirations to better the lives of youth across the country. Spring is right around the corner (in theory), and with that comes blooming flowers. For nearly 50 years, the dawn of spring has meant that it’s time for the Macy’s Flower Show downtown. A Romantic Afternoon

WHAT: Romance—Sinfonia Style featuring Alexander Fiterstein

Valentine’s Day may have been more than a month ago, but that doesn’t mean that there’s excuse to slack off in the romance department. Winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, this George Gershwin opera is a moving, artistically rich work of perennial popularity.
