Not Your Mother’s 5K
What: Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Race
When: 10 a.m.
Where: Wild Mountain, 37200 Wild Mountain Road, Taylors Falls
This is not a 5K for the faint of heart. As if running 3.1 miles wasn’t enough work, this race sends teams over an obstacle course with trampolines, the “Accelerator 3.0,” and, of course, plenty of mud. After the race, the party continues with music, a pie eating contest, a mechanical bull, and other outdoor activities. Learn more.
Paws for a Cause
What: Can Do Woofaroo

Where: Can Do Canines, 9440 Science Center Drive, New Hope
Bring Fido or Fluffy along for this dog-friendly walk including vendors, food trucks, assistance dog demonstrations, a canine costume contest, and more.
