Celebrate Pride Month across Minnesota with parades, drag shows, pet contests, paddles, and family-friendly fun

In the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota, there are many ways to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month. From parades and performances to a river paddle, here are a few of the highlights to enjoy throughout June.

Marshall Pride Celebration
When: June 13-15
Where: Various locations in Marshall, Minnesota

Come to Marshall for a vibrant, weekend-long pride celebration. Push Play Entertainment kicks off the event with a Trivia Night on Thursday evening, followed by a drag show at Brau Brother’s Tap Room. Marshall Pride’s marquee event is a festival on Sunday at Independence Park. The festival features a Kids Corner, laser tag, merchandise and craft vendors, and four food trucks.

Hastings Pride Festival
When: June 14, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: Levee Park, 20 Ramsey St., Hastings

Join the Hastings community in celebrating pride with a day of live entertainment, face painting, food vendors, bounce house, and a gender-affirming clothing swap. The fun starts with a pet parade and costume contest at 10 a.m.

STP Pride Festival and Parade
When: June 14-15
Where: Lowertown St. Paul; Dual Citizens Brewery, 725 Raymond Ave., St. Paul

The St. Paul community is celebrating pride with a festival and parade, complete with over 15 musical artists, 10-plus food trucks, and a youth and family zone. Dual Citizens Brewery is hosting the festival and invites attendees to try its “Queerly Beloved” Pink Lemonade hard seltzer.

Leading Ladies: Divas of Broadway
When: June 21-22
Where: Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, 345 Washington St., St. Paul

The Twin Cities Gay Men’s Chorus (TCGMC) presents “Leading Ladies: Divas of Broadway,” a two-hour concert with iconic anthems from Broadway’s leading ladies. Britney Coleman, a renowned Broadway performer, joins TCGMC for the brilliant celebration of theater and pride.

Twin Cities Pride Family Fun Day
When: June 22, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Como Park Pavillion East, 1199 Midway Parkway, St. Paul

For families and kids of all ages, the Twin Cities Pride Family Fun Day is a free event with hot dogs, crafts, games, and guest appearances by iconic Minnesota mascots.

Pride Paddle
When: June 22, 10:30 a.m.
Where: Interstate State Park, 307 Milltown Road, Taylors Falls

Everyone is welcome (even dogs!) to celebrate pride with a paddle on the St. Croix River– no kayaking experience necessary. Paddlers will mingle and eat at various sand bars and complete their journey at Osceola Landing. Plan to bring your own snacks and to spend about four hours on the water.

Beer Dabbler
When: June 27, 6-9:30 p.m.
Where: Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, 725 Vineland Place, Minneapolis

Seventy-plus breweries and food trucks are gathering at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden to kick off the Twin Cities Pride Weekend. This year, the Beer Dabbler is partnering with The Little Wedding Co. to celebrate queer love. They will be offering vow exchanges and renewals for LGBTQIA+ couples. Sign up here.

Twin Cities Pride Festival
When: June 27-29
Where: Loring Park, Minneapolis

Featuring over 650 vendors, a parade, four food courts, and an art alley that showcases LGBTQIA+ artists, Twin Cities Pride Festival is among the nation’s largest pride festivals. LGBTQIA+ musicians will perform on three stages over the course of the weekend, and for the first time, attendees can visit the Cannabis Garden with various THC products and vendors. BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ vendors are denoted with a sticker.

Rainbow Run 5K
When: June 29, 8:30 a.m.
Where: B.F. Nelson Park, 434 NE Main St., Minneapolis

Twin Cities Pride is hosting its annual Rainbow Run 5K along the parade route in Downtown Minneapolis. This year’s theme is “Pride in Every Stride,” so wear bright colors as you run—there is a prize for best outfit! Spectators are welcome, and kids looking for a shorter race course can run the Rainbow Dash for two blocks on Hennepin Avenue.

Pride Night with St. Paul Saints
When: June 26, 7:07 p.m.
Where: CHS Field, 360 N Broadway St., St. Paul

The St. Paul Saints are honoring pride at their June 26 game against the Louisville Bats. Attendees are invited to wear their best rainbow colors and enjoy $2 Bud Light beer.
