100th Anniversary Reading of The Great Gatsby

April 10 @ 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Join the Minnesota Historical Society and the Friends of the St. Paul Library for a live reading of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, 100 years to the day after it was published. This will be a full read through of the novel, from start to finish. You never know who you’ll hear reading, so drop in for a page, a chapter, or the entire book!

While you’re at the History Center, see items related to Fitzgerald from the MNHS Collections on display in the Gale Family Library.

This event is part of the Friends of the St. Paul Library’s “Gatsby at 100,” a series of events in 2025 revisiting the 100th anniversary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s book The Great Gatsby. To mark this milestone, The Friends invites all of us to revisit the book and consider how its themes apply today.
