2019 Points of Light Conference

June 18 @ 8:00 am - 7:00 pm

Varies

The Points of Light Conference is the world’s largest service-related convening, bringing together more than 2,000 nonprofit, government, business and civic leaders to gain and share the knowledge, resources and connections needed to galvanize the power of people to create change. This global event is your opportunity to connect with peers in the social sector as we work together to ignite a civic passion for community mindedness, citizen action, social responsibility and a commitment to giving back.

The conference, co-hosted with HandsOn Twin Cities, will feature four engaging forums and more than 70 workshops across topics including business with purpose, civic engagement innovations from around the world, nonprofit capacity building and volunteer engagement, engaging youth and families in service, and more. TED Talk-style presentations will be delivered by industry leaders, and a variety of special events will offer attendees unique opportunities to enhance their conference experience in the Twin Cities.

Past speakers have included former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, former astronaut Captain Mark Kelly, former first lady Michelle Obama, actors Yara Shahidi and Tyler Perry, NBA star Dwight Howard, chef José Andrés, and more.

Early-bird registration is now open. Regular registration opens March 16.
