24th Annual Winter Solstice Blessing
December 21 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until December 21, 2025

Part Theatre / Part Shamanic Ceremony / All Cool
Now in its 24th year, the Winter Solstice Blessing is a mythic, musical, mystical journey—part theatre, part ceremony, and entirely original.
You’ll be guided through a heart-opening, spirit-lifting experience by performers and ritual leaders Jaime Meyer and Patricia Choate, who weave together storytelling, drumming, chanting, Celtic myth, shamanic symbolism, and immersive ceremony to mark the longest night of the year.
The evening features:
Audience-wide drumming (bring your own or borrow from our “Mound o’ Wahoo”)
Live Celtic music and chorus chanting
Ritual theater with ancient mythic figures like the Cailleach (Old Bone Mother) and the Spirit of the Reindeer
A ceremonial blessing for releasing old energy and awakening new vision, connection, and joy
This is a spiritual-but-not-religious event: poetic, smart, funny, and deeply reverent. You’re invited to participate in a way that feels authentic to you—no beliefs required.
Musicians: Caitlin Benson and Andrew Lentz
