American Craft Council Library Open House

October 28 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm

)

Minneapolis, Minnesota—The American Craft Council Library, a great resource in the Twin Cities and around the country to learn about modern craft, is reopening after a long COVID closure with an open house from 5-7:30 p.m. October 28.

The library is located in the historic Grain Belt Brew House at 1224 Marshall St. N.E., Suite 200.

Northeast Bank, a neighbor to the library, sponsored the reopening celebration to showcase NE Minneapolis. The American Craft Council welcomes the public to enjoy:

● A private tour from the Craft Council librarian.

● A raffle of American Craft Council memberships.

● A pop-up booth with Knitting in the Wild.

● A craft book sale.

● Food from Kieran’s Kitchen and DelSur Empanadas.

● Beverages from Fair State Brewing Cooperative.

“We are so happy to be able to once again share our library and its many resources with the public,” said Librarian Beth Goodrich. “Modern craft has a rich history and so much to offer the community.”

The Open House also features two local creative organizations: Curiosity Studio (provided zines for first 10 signups) and Silent Fox (designed the invitation) and was organized in partnership with Coimatan, a think tank for local retail.
