Aron Olson presents Crumbling Misplacements

June 11 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

Join Cow Tipping Press to hear Aron Olson read from his new book! Aron is the winner of the 2025 Cow Tipping Prize, awarded to an author with intellectual/developmental disabilities. This event will celebrate neurodivergent literature and will offer a first look at Aron’s inventive, inquisitive collection. Balancing humor, beauty, and loss, Aron probes at his ideas and memories, weaving together past, present, and future to reveal dynamic connections. At times deeply personal and others sweeping and expansive, reading Aron’s writing feels both like talking to an old friend and witnessing a great artist at work. Aron will be joined in conversation by local poet and editor, Xander Gershberg.

Aron Olson was born in NYC but grew up in the Twin City area. He currently lives in Bloomington Minnesota and enjoys story writing, music, bowling, picnic, golf, shooting movies with phone camera, swimming at Y.
Xander Gershberg is a Minneapolis-based poet, editor, and educator. His poetry appears in FENCE, The Journal, Plume, TAB Journal, Poetry Online, Great River Review, and elsewhere. He is a poetry editor at MAYDAY and on Spout Press’s editorial collective. He received his MFA from Virginia Tech.
