On a 90-minute guided tour, learn how Minnesotans played pivotal roles in the Civil War by looking at battle flags, art and memorials commemorating their participation in that war. Visit the Governor’s Reception Room where six renowned paintings depict Minnesota regiment in battle. View conserved battle flags, including a flagstaff that survived the Battle of Gettysburg and hear stories about governors who as young men had their lives forever changed by their experiences.
