Dog Obedience Level 1: Basic Life Skills
June 6 @ 6:15 pm - July 18 @ 7:15 pm$145
Discover how to teach your dog a sense of self-calming, and desirable house and social manners. Use basic cues such as sit, down, stay, and come with both hand and voice signals.
We will also talk about tips for loose leash walking, jumping on guests, and ways to keep our pups mentally stimulated. Our goal is to help you gain or build a trusting relationship with your dog and learn when to meet them in the middle. Behavior modification is a science and applies to all animals, regardless of age.
No dogs on the first night of class. The first class is for the human end of the leash only. Please email proof of your dog’s updated vaccine information to your instructor Holly at email@example.com before the 1st day of class. (Your dog must be up-to-date on both Rabies and Distemper Combo (if under 6 months, bring in updates as they are obtained)). Bordetella is not required, though strongly recommended.
Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be doing some moving around. Other supplies such as treats and leashes will be discussed the first week during orientation. No dogs the first week.
6 Weeks of classes. No class July 4th.
