Urban Roots is a nonprofit that provides paid internships to youth on the East Side of Saint Paul. Youth interns develop leadership, entrepreneurial, and life skills through our Market Garden, Conservation, and Cook Fresh Programs. Each year, up to 75 youth interns, ages 14-24, participate in our progressive, tiered programming, connecting to one another and to the world around them.

As part of our “Every Day is Earth Day at Urban Roots” campaign, join us for an evening of fun and learning!

The Earth Evening event will include:
-Food from Que Tal Street Eats
-Drinks (beer and root beer) from Summit Brewing Company
-A short presentation by Minnesota GreenCorps members assigned to the following host sites: Minnesota Pollution Control Agency – Get the Lead Out, Rethos, River Bend Nature Center, and Urban Roots
