This vibrant evening highlights the dance, music, and spirit of Nigeria, The Gambia, and Togo, brought to life by performers of all ages, including members of the Afrocontigbo professional dance company and members of the community. Embodying the richness of our cultural fabric, this event will also include a tour of foods from Nigeria, Gambia and Togo, visual art, a raffle, audience participation and networking.

Afrocontigbo is an African Contemporary Igbo dance company founded by Korma Aguh-Stuckmayer in 2015. Hailing from the Igbo tribe in Nigeria, Korma brings a rich cultural heritage to her work. Afrocontigbo seamlessly blends traditional and modern West African dance moves, offering invigorating and joyful Afrobeats dance classes and performances throughout the Twin Cities.
