October 7 - October 9Free
Anyone with an eye for design is in store for incredible finds at the Fall 2022 Saint Paul Art Crawl, taking place October 7–9, 2022. Union Depot will be among the unique venues participating in the event in the Lowertown Historic Art District. Showcasing works from more than 30 local artists, Union Depot will lend a historic backdrop to exceptional art and handmade gifts.
Showcasing artists include:
• Mixed media artists
• Jewelry designers
• Apothecary creators
• Many others
Visitors will have the opportunity to browse the artists while enjoying live music at Station 81 Drink & Eatery. The restaurant will provide a comfortable event pit stop, with food and drink specials throughout the three-day event. Station 81 is located within the Union Depot Head House, which is where all Art Crawl festivities will be taking place.
Lindsay Boyd, Senior Marketing & Events Manager at Union Depot, is looking forward to the exciting atmosphere of the annual fall event. According to Boyd, “Union Depot is always among the most popular destinations during the Saint Paul Art Crawl. The atmosphere is something special. It’s the perfect place to find hidden gems while also supporting community artists.”
One of the artists exhibiting at Union Depot will be Alyssa Whetstone, a local creator whose realist pieces often depict Minnesota scenery. When she’s not teaching elementary school art, Alyssa focuses on her own works, which incorporate crisp black pen lines and soft watercolor paint to reimagine familiar places. “I love drawing and painting realism because it allows me to truly see and appreciate the scene I am recreating,” Alyssa notes. At the art crawl, she will be among many artists excited to show off their unique styles. Twin Cities residents can look forward to an event that brings the community together at the Saint Paul Art Crawl.
