A powerful and inspiring gathering in solidarity to end violence against women and girls

OCTOBER 2ND, 2020. Tickets are now available for Global Rights for Women NOW: The virtual, global gathering in solidarity to end violence against women and girls. The event will be presented by Minneapolis-based nonprofit, Global Rights for Women, a leading voice in the movement to end violence against women and girls, and builds partnerships that advance laws, values, and practices to ensure all women and girls live free from violence in our community and globally.

The event will be a powerful, inspiring, 45-minute gathering featuring human rights leaders, actors, and musicians. Hear from individuals including Emcee, Lizz Winstead, co-creator and former head writer of The Daily Show, Keynote Speaker, Judge Rosemarie Aquilina, presided over the USA gymnastics sexual abuse case and sentenced Dr. Larry Nasser to 175 years in prison, Vita Randazzo, Gender Specialist at United Nations Honduras, and Cheryl Thomas, GRW Executive Director and women’s rights lawyer.

The event will also have special appearances from: Marcia Gay Harden, two-time Academy Award winner, V (formerly Eve Ensler), Tony Award-winning playwright, performer, and activist, author of The Vagina Monologues, Imrana Jalal, Chair of the World Bank Inspection Panel, Dr. Eleanor Nwadinobi, Physician and Chair of Every Woman Treaty, Ruthie Foster, three-time Grammy nominee, and Jesse Colin Young, American singer and songwriter.
