Invasive Plant Mapping at Sand Prairie WMEEA
July 22 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join Great River Greening for a special mid-summer event! We will be working with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Fish and Wildlife team in St. Cloud. Volunteers will learn how to use GPS to mark the locations of invasive buckthorn and honeysuckle for later removal. This monitoring will help inform our future restoration work at this stunning location.
Join us for one or more shifts!
This is a family-friendly event. Limited to 5 volunteers due to the number of available GPS devices. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to attend. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary, we will provide the tools and training required.
